About Green Bushes Publishing
Why "Green Bushes?"
Green Bushes Publishing is the private, self- publishing imprint created by Neil Farrell to make available to the public his collection of mostly a cappella compositions and arrangements, and selected titles by other composers and arrangers unavailable elsewhere.
Neil Farrell's compositions can be heard most frequently at the NYC's Church of St. Ignatius Loyola (84th St. & Park Ave.), for whose choir many of them were written. In December 2005, the Choir and Orchestra of St. Ignatius Loyola performed his newly commissioned medley of Gesu Bambino and Sweet Little Jesus Boy, with soprano soloist Sara Murphy. His Hosanna Filio David, and Drop, Drop, Slow Tears both appeared on the Choir of St. Ignatius Loyola's concert of a cappella music on Wednesday, February 8, 2006. That program will be repeated Thursday, March 9, 2006, on the St. Louis Cathedral Concerts series, in conjunction with the ACDA convention taking place there.
Neilís arrangements and compositions have been performed by Equal Voices, the Western Wind Vocal Ensemble, Voices of Ascension, The Dessoff Choirs, Talisman, Harmonium, and the Men's Glee Club at Florida State University, among others.
